Dear Clients, Neighbors and Friends,

The Ohio State Bank was founded in 1988 as The Marion Bank. Its mission was “To be a leader in providing quality banking services to all customers, at a fair price, with superior service and profitable growth.” The foundation of the Bank was to provide hometown banking, personalized service, and values you can bank on.

After 20 years, the bank has grown and expanded on these ideals, and in 2005, changed its name to The Ohio State Bank. Our nation has experienced ups and downs, as have our local communities, but through it all The Ohio State Bank has remained committed to our clients. Today, our mission is simple, “To deliver excellence to all we serve,” and our commitment to it is firm.

Just like the “big banks,” we offer state-of-the-art technology that allows you to conveniently pay bills online, set up a notification to alert you to activity in your account, or call 24/7 to check on your balance. But with us, you also get the kind of personal service you would expect from your local community bank. For example, you have my promise that when you call us any time during our regular business hours, your call will be answered by a real person.
